In fact, you probably don't even need a steamworks at all since you'll be stopping before needing energy production and you only need 10 compendiums total to get to the above research targets. Since you're stopping before the compendium grind, you don't need many steamworks. Don't worry too much about steel, either. It's only going to give you probably a 5-10% production bonus by the time you reset, and that will be lost without apocrypha. So don't worry about religion all that much. You only need that if you're going to grind compendiums. Sure, get everything up to Solar Revolution and praise the sun regularly for the global production bonus, but don't bother trying to get the persistent faith upgrade from Apocrypha, It requires 5000 gold, and you're probably not going to get that on a first playthrough. Trade ships not only increase storage, they also increase both the quantity and frequency of titanium trade. Then unlock zebras and start trading for titanium. Be sure to continue building observatories at least to 10, maybe to 15 or so, even if you don't need the science, because they increase the frequency of astronomical events that give starcharts. If you can grind the starcharts, you'll get more storage from that than you will from barns and workshops. Instead, be sure you have the Cargo Ships workshop upgrade, and then simply focus on building trade ships and harbors to increase your storage capacity. The gain you get from any of those three technologies isn't really justified by the time investment required on a first playthrough. The compendium requirements at that point become very high. Get navigation, get architecture, then once you're looking at Physics/Acoustics/Geology as your next research options, just stop. Note: All data is from Jose圜ozey's spreadsheet.Click on options in the upper right, then check the box next to "Use web worker (game works correctly in background tab, may cause performance issues)"įor people on their first playthough: now that I've played through a couple resets, I advise stopping tech research at Architecture. The number in parentheses beside the parent indicates that parent's star level. Here, you can find the combos to breed a certain kitten. Note, again, that is impossible to borrow a cat that is more than 1 star higher than your cat. The columns represent the star level of the cat borrowed while the rows represent the star level of the cat already owned. However, if you have a 6-star cat, you can still borrow a 1-star cat). (e.g.: If you have a 1-star cat, you cannot borrow a friend's 3-star cat or higher to breed with it. Note that you cannot borrow a friend's cat if the cat you are trying to breed with is more than 1 star lower. Nevertheless, it is convenient to borrow a friend's cat if you want higher-starred cats or if you are looking for a specific kitten. Borrowing a friend's cat for a date costs more than breeding two of your own cats. It takes a different amount of time for differently-starred cats to produce a kitten.īreeding cats also takes Gold. 2.2 Costs for One Owned and One Borrowed Cat. The following table shows how long it takes to breed cats of two particular rarities. Remember, cats can breed while they're resting from exploration. If someone invites your cat over, you'll receive Gold Coins through in-game mail. Cats can only go on dates with a cat a maximum of one star higher rarity or lower (e.g.: a four star cat can date a five star, but not a six star). Then an invite button will appear below the empty one and you can see available cats of the necessary gender.Ĭats are able to explore and go on dates in your tent even when they are being borrowed by friends. To invite a cat on a date, first select one of your cats to fill in a slot. To see which of your cats are available for dating, go to the cat tent and tap the pink button on the lower left side. For an alternative look at cat breeding, check out the Discord groups' cat chart here.īesides being able to send two of your own cats on a date, you can also send your cats on dates with your friends cats.
